Some Easy Steps to Get Fair Skin

Stress and busy schedules leave us with no time to pamper our skin. So all we do is to apply creams to look fair. If you follow these easy steps daily and switch over to natural ingredients for your skincare, then fair skin will be yours forever. So here are the simple steps you should follow regularly.

Try to use a sun block with zinc oxide or titanium oxide in it, since these are broad spectrum Sun blocks. They leave a whitish tinge on your skin, so you can blend it with your foundation to even out the skin tone.

Most of the skin darkening and discoloration take place due to exposure to the Sun. Staying indoors will help to keep the complexion light. If that is not possible then protect your skin using a sun block. Dermatologists say that SPF 15 is not sufficient anymore, since UVA and UVB rays are still penetrating your skin.

If you want 98% or more sun rays to be blocked then use a sunscreen with SPF30 or more. Wear a hat to protect your face when you are outside, especially during summers. A broad brimmed fashionable hat will protect your skin and make you a style icon as well!

Doing a manual exfoliation can help to lighten the skin by removing the layer of dead cells. Exfoliation only helps when your current skin is darker than your normal skin tone. This is because exfoliation reveals a new skin untouched by the Sun. You can exfoliate skin using a body scrub or face wash.

You can make your own facial scarab by using almonds, walnuts or oatmeal. Use a scrub brush or dry brush to exfoliate your body. For the face use a brush with softer bristles, since the skin on your face is more sensitive than the skin on your body. You can also use exfoliating machines like Clarisonic that go a little deeper to remove dead skin cells.

It is tough to lighten the skin that is naturally dark. You can lighten it a shade or two using the natural methods. Consistency is the key,do your facial treatments several times a week to get the results. Don’t expect magic to happen overnight.

After a busy day at work you can apply some soothing aloe Vera gel. Aloe Vera has a compound called anthraquinone that gently lightens the skin by removing the top layer of skin cells. Apply aloe Vera all over your body and leave it for 20 minutes. If you want you can rinse it off, but it is always better to let it stay on your skin. Aloe Vera is great for your skin so there is no need to rinse it off actually.

Try wearing a dark lipstick or eye shadow that contrast with your skin. Don’t overdo the makeup and focus on highlighting only one part of your face.
If you want to use a skin lightning cream, use one that has hydroquinone. Consult a dermatologist to find out which concentration will work for you.

For skin whitening use one tablespoon of dry shredded coconut with warm milk, one tablespoon of rice flour and one spoon of baking soda to make a paste and apply it on your face and body. Try twice a month to get a fair skin.

Make sure to use a moisturizer after using lemon on your skin. Lemon often dries up the skin due to its acid content. If you should dilute lemon in water before applying.
