These liquid meals also provide your
digestive system the chance to take a break, as they are easy for your body to
assimilate and absorb. Swapping out a few empty-calories, heavy meals a day for
one of these fresh juices will help you feel like a much better version of
yourself.
Beet Smoothie
Beet juice is better thought of as nature's
sports drink, as it boasts a large concentration of electrolytes and
detoxifying substances. Be advised, a juice this heavy with beets will cause
your urine to turn pink or a darker reddish color. This is completely normal is
not something to worry about.
The mint in this drink not only amplifies the
digestive benefits of the juice, but it takes off the earthy-tasty edge that
the beets bring. Mint acts as a soothing and calming force to your digestive
tract and can also help defend against nausea.
Ingredients
2 medium beets
1 cored red apple
1 stalk celery
1 cucumber
1 handful of fresh mint
1 Tablespoon hemp oil
½ teaspoon pink Himalayan sea salt
Preparation
First chop cucumber, celery and beets in
chunks of small size. Add all ingredients in to juices and blend well. Pour all
juice in a jug and mix hemp oil and sea salt in it. Before serving add ice in
it for chilling and refreshing taste.
Ginger
Ginger is renowned for its ability to soothe
digestion, relieve menstrual discomfort in women & increase blood flow
throughout the body. This increased blood circulation naturally helps encourage
liver detoxification and prevents constipation.
Ingredients
2 large, cored green apples
2 medium pieces of ginger
2 large carrots
2 celery stalks
Pinch of turmeric powder
1 tablespoon of hemp oil
Preparation
First peel apples, gingers, carrot and celery
and put them in grinder and blend them well. Pour this juice in a glass and
combine hemp oil and turmeric in it. Serve this juice with ice.
Berries Smoothie
Berries are your friend when it comes to
detoxing because of all the antioxidants and fiber they contain. They’re just
the thing your body needs to replenish it and to help purge toxins from its
various systems. Blueberries are packed with them, and raspberries and
blackberries also have a lot, so we’ll use all three here to make sure it’s a
detox winner.

1 1/2 cups Berry Mix (Blueberries,
Raspberries, Blackberries)
1/2 cup Coconut Milk

Blend everything together until you reach a
smoothie consistency. The beauty of berries is their easy prep. Fresh berries
need a rinse before going in, while frozen you just pop right in. When detoxing
organic produce is always recommended.
